Common Grounds is hosting a forum on the Denominational Renewal Conference. Below is the blurb from the CGO site. I think this should be really good. Sorry I’m a bit late posting this (the forum began Monday) but it will be worth catching up. I may try to post some thoughts here and there although life is bearing down rather hard at the moment.

In February, 2008 five PCA pastors gave talks at a conference called “Denominational Renewal“. Hundreds of PCA pastors and seminarians attended.

We will host a forum on these talks at CGO. We will spend one week on each talk, in sequence. The forum will run from Monday, September 15 through Friday, October 17.

To listen to the original talks, go to the Denominational Renewal site and click on speakers. Under each of the speakers’ biographies you will find a link to the audio of the message.

Comments require first and last names and the commenter’s valid email address.

I think the worst verse must be:

“Once I tried to run.
I tried to run and hide.
But Jesus came and found me
and he touched me down inside.
He is like a Mounty
He always gets his man (!)
And he’ll zap(? sack? sap?) you
Anyway he can.

I’m thinking about adding a new category just for this post. Disturbing.
