Thanks to all of you who humor me on a regular, or not so regular for that matter, basis my blog reached 10,000 hits today. Of course that is transferred over from my old site, and I know that a huge majority of those are accidental clicks, but still, I appreciate all of you that take time to read my thoughts.

Huckabee has won the first Super Tuesday election in West Virginia. After doing some more reading I think I’ve decided that I’m opposed to McCain. It’s not at all clear that he would be consistently pro-life on abortion or a number of other life related issues. Further, he seems at times borderline hostile toward evangelicals, and I simply haven’t been able to understand the rationale for a number of his ‘maverick’ moves over the years. So, barring Ron Paul, I suppose that Huckabee would be my choice. He still creeps me out in some ways, but it seems likely that he would fight to save children’s lives both before and after birth, he’s opposed to the income tax, and he is a Christian man that, despite theological/worldview differences, recognizes that faith in Christ necessarily must affect all aspects of one’s life, including one’s vocation, be it the President or the garbage man.
